JAKIN N.G.O DRESS A CHILD FOR SCHOOL PROJECT

     In commemoration of the yearly International Literacy Day every 8th September, Jakin NGO (http://jakinministry.org/index.php) a non-governmental organization aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable people celebrated her 6th edition of her annual project 'DRESS A CHILD FOR SCHOOL PROJECT,' like the name, this project focuses on providing the necessary school materials for children (school bag, uniforms, books, school sandals, pens . . .) For the past five years JAKIN NGO has provided school materials for hundreds of children in the community of Lagos, giving these kids a reason to not give up on their education, proving to them that education is indeed important.

     I am personally inspired by the commitment, concern and determination that flows from the heart of the founder of the N.G.O Mrs Adebiyi Olubukola, I have witnessed it and so I can say with conviction that she is one who truly cares and takes action to make a difference, she is a woman of influence.

                                         Mrs Adebiyi Olubukola

     International literacy day reminds us of the essence of education for all, especially our children. Every child on the surface of this earth deserves to and should be educated, a world where the little ones are not educated is a world with a shaky uncertain future . . . our children are our future.

 We all can be part of the success story of a child's education, I know there are people in the world with hearts full of concern and compassion like Mrs Adebiyi,  there are various ways, you can;

      Check out JAKIN NGO at http://jakinministry.org/ to donate for a child.
      Sponsor a child on worldhelp.net child sponsorship campaign.
      Donate at any reputable organization for kids.
      Volunteer to teach kids at a centre in disadvantaged areas.
      Spread the word through your social medias, word of mouth . . .

There is a way, you just have to look around you.
